Our client is a family run group of service centres with over 50 years in the automotive business. They are on the leading independent tyre, MOT, and service operators across the South of England. They have grown from humble beginnings to operations across 19 locations, with a turnover more than £50 million and around 240 employees.

Our client is seeking applications from Candidates with a ‘Can do attitude’ and an understanding of how to deliver a great service on the highest scale. Our client has a well organised and friendly workshop team.

You will have skills in MOT Testing and ideally have strong servicing skills including, but not limited to, diagnostics and electronics. The applicant will also be required to work at a high standard whilst under pressure within a busy motor trade industry.

Our client is happy to accept applications for Full-Time MOT Testers alongside Technicians with an MOT Testing licence.

Duties of a MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Undertake MOT Tests in line with VOSA standards
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with company processes
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.
What our client expects of their MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician:
  • An MOT Testing Licence
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
