Martin Bane

Senior Recruitment Consultant East Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire

Hi, I’m Martin Bane, and I joined Perfect Placement in a Recruitment Executive role in October 2015 as part of the Perfect Placement training academy. In June 2018 I was then promoted to Senior Recruitment Executive and previously worked alongside Principal Recruitment Consultant, Liam Buffenbarger, assisting with recruitment in the South West London, West Sussex and Surrey area.

Having spent the previous 5 years covering all roles within the automotive, as of September 2020 I was promoted to Specialist Recruitment Consultant, in this role I specialised within the Accident Repair, Commercial and Logistics Divisions covering Hampshire, South East Surrey, and Sussex. Alongside this position I oversaw all automotive Clients and Candidates across Hampshire, covering areas such as Southampton, Portsmouth, & Winchester.

Since May 2022 I’ve been responsible for looking after East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire & Surrey Borders. And since July 2022 I was promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant managing a small team.

Before joining Perfect Placement, I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2015 with Upper Second Class Honours in Geography. I’ve also had experience within the hospitality industry having spent time on both sides of a bar, these days it’s more often as a customer.

I pride myself on my ability to provide the best customer service I can, treating everyone with equal respect and an opportunity to prove themselves. A warm, friendly and respectful approach, paired with continuous Automotive Industry insight enables me to find each Candidate and Client their perfect placement.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching football amongst many sports, and I’m an avid supporter of Norwich City FC, which can on occasion make watching football less enjoyable. I enjoy socialising with friends, watching box sets, visiting restaurants and attending various local music gigs.
