Vehicle Technician required for Indepdent Garage
  • Salary £28,000 - £32,000 Depending on Experience 
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm NO WEEEKNDS!!!
  • Ideally with MOT licence
  • Relaxed environment
Our clients are a well-established, family-run Independent Garage and are currently seeking an experienced Technician / Mechanic to join their small team. 

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform motor vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Carry out car servicing and repairs, demonstrating competence and attention to detail
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and within specified timeframes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and explaining repair recommendations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent results
  • Ideally carry out MOT tests in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic / Technician
  • Competency in car servicing and repairs
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with experience using diagnostic tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ideally be an MOT Tester
