Our client is a privately owned motor retailer group in the UK. They are currently looking for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent certification. The primary responsibility of the Vehicle Technician will be to perform servicing, repair, and diagnostic tasks on all the vehicles present in the workshop. The Vehicle Technician must ensure that all work is conducted to the highest possible standards.

To be considered for this Vehicle Technician role you must have the following: 
  • Be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Ideally hold 1 to 2 years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Have a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Be a committed individual and a good team player
  • You must be able to produce a high-quality of work in a busy environment
  • Can demonstrate good technical knowledge

As a Vehicle Technician with our client, your duties will include:
  • Servicing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards
  • Carrying out diagnostic checks and identifying faults
  • Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Communicating with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work-space
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technical information and training opportunities
  • Contributing to the overall success of the workshop and dealership. 
Working hours for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Our client values work-life balance and is offering three different schedules to suit your needs.
  • Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
  • Monday – Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
  • Monday – Friday with a day off during the week 8am to 4:45pm, as well as Saturdays, 8am to 4:30pm.
