Duties of a Service Advisor with our Client:
  • Assisting with running workshop control.
  • Looking after a small team, 1 x Service Admin/Warranty Administrator, 1 x Service Retention specialist & a team of 7 Technicians.
  • Advising customers on how to solve a problem with their vehicle.
  • Booking/scheduling vehicle services.
  • Liaising with customers about any additional work required.
  • Producing estimating time and costs associated with repairs for customers.
  • Handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests.
  • Proving progress reports for customer ensuring vehicle is tracked through the workshop.
  • Liaison with other members of staff
  • Making Service available to the workshop for Vehicle Health Check Videos + Upselling
What our client expects of their Service Advisor:
  • Previous motor trade experience within a Service Advisor role or similar is essential.
  • Experience with Kerridge/CDK/Keyloop or similar
  • A good technical understanding and general knowledge of how Motor Vehicles work.
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to keep technical knowledge updated to provide the most efficient service possible.
  • Confidence in processing payments,
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Confidence in problem solving.
  • Full UK Driving Licence. – Preferably Clean
