PDI Vehicle Technician Required in Stratford-upon-Avon area
  • Up to £34,000 Basic Salary plus OTE up to £40,000
  • Monday to Friday ONLY (8:30am - 5pm)

A franchised car dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon is expanding its PDI workshop team and is looking for PDI Technician to make a positive impact within the company.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. You should possess a UK driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual, and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and should be motivated to achieve the targets set for your team.

As a PDI Technician, your day-to-day duties will include but aren't limited to:
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and approved used vehicles following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
  • Utilising your technical knowledge to inspect the engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
  • Repairing and replacing broken or defective parts to resolve vehicle defects.
  • Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repairs.
  • Supporting other Vehicle Technicians in the workshop.
  • Completing all associated documentation on the vehicle in line with HSO, manufacturer warranty and our client's own standards.
  • Provide regular work status updates. 
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
