Vehicle Technician Required in Canterbury, Kent! 
  • Basic Salary up to £30,000 - Dependent on Experience.
  • OTE of up to £38,000! 
  • Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:30pm! 
  • No Weekends!

Our client, a Multi-Franchise Main Dealer based within the Canterbury area of Kent, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. 

As a Vehicle Technician for our client, you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections and using the latest diagnostic technology to diagnose any necessary faults. You will also perform routine services, maintenance and repairs. 

The successful Vehicle Technician will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. They will also ideally have a minimum of three years working in a main dealer garage, although applications from technicians with an independent garage background will be considered.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
  • Builds effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager required
  • Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  • Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 / 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to keep technical knowledge up to date.
  • Confidence in problem solving.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Preferably Clean.
