Master Technician Required in the Birmingham Area for a Main Dealer!
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:30, plus alt Saturdays 8:00 - 12:30
  • £39,000 - £41,000 basic depending on experience, plus £2K for EV + Likely bonus Circa £6,000-£8,000, but uncapped! 
  • OTE £48,000+
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for our client's reputable Main Dealership and they are looking Master Technician to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside a team of experienced technicians, you will play a vital role supporting all technicians and apprentices

As a Master Technician, your duties will include the following:
  • Supporting and provide guidance for all Technicians and Apprentices within the workshop
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical diagnosis using (Brand-specific diagnostic machine) to the manufacturer's guidelines
  • Assisting the Service and Diagnostic technicians with vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical diagnosis, using computer-based technology
  • Liaising with the manufacturers’ technical team when guidance is required
  • Advising the customer/ manufacturer of any further work required
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure all work has been completed to company standards.
The Master Technician will need the following Qualifications/ Experience:
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be an Accredited Master Technician with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Experience with motor industry brands and a full, valid UK driving licence are essential. You should be self-motivated, a strong team player, and take a diligent, ambitious approach to your work. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards on every vehicle that enters our workshop is key.
