  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 08:00 – 13:00
Are you looking for a Parts Advisor role in a modern, busy workshop where training and development are fully supported?

Our client is part of a long-established Dealer Group with over 80 years of trading experience, representing some of the most recognisable brands in the automotive sector. Due to growing demand at their Brighton-based site, they’re looking to expand the Parts team.

Whether you’re experienced in automotive parts or coming from a warehouse, retail stockroom, or technical background, this could be a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that values internal development.

What’s in it for you?
  • Basic Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
  • OTE of £30,000 – £32,000, bonus based on retail and workshop sales (12-month average)
  • Training offered, even if from outside the motor trade – potential off-site induction available

  • 1 in 3 Saturdays only (mornings only)
  • Access to Pinnacle DMS and Microcat self-service system
Duties of a Parts Advisor include:
  • Serving retail customers and supplying parts to the busy workshop
  • Managing stock levels and pricing Visual Health Checks
  • Supporting the Service Manager and technicians by identifying and picking correct parts
  • Pre-picking parts and updating job cards with accurate information
  • Answering inbound calls and assisting with customer parts queries
  • Maintaining system records and internal admin
What kind of person are we looking for?
  • You might be a semi-skilled technician looking to move into a parts role, or someone with retail/warehouse experience and a passion for vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn on the job
  • Confident, friendly and able to work well as part of a small, busy team
  • A good memory and an ability to navigate vehicle parts systems (e.g. Microcat)
  • Ideally: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent experience
  • A confident telephone manner and strong customer service mindset
