Senior Service Advisor required in the Leamington Spa area
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 basic (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday only, 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Holiday: 24 days + Bank Holidays
  • Location: Leamington Spa
We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Service Advisor to join a friendly and professional independent garage team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a service environment who combines strong customer service and administrative skills with a good working knowledge of vehicles.

You’ll be the key point of contact for customers, managing the service desk, supporting technicians, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow through the garage. For the right person, this role could develop into a Workshop Controller position in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and support customers throughout their service experience
  • Accurately book in vehicles, schedule work, and communicate clearly with both customers and technicians
  • Provide administrative support including preparing job cards, invoicing, ordering parts, and updating service records
  • Liaise with the workshop to ensure jobs are progressing efficiently
  • Keep customers informed and manage expectations
  • Maintain accurate records using garage management software
  • Support technicians with job allocation and coordination as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction
The successful Senior Service Advisor will have: 
  • Strong experience in a similar service advisor role (independent or dealership)
  • Strong customer service skills – professional, friendly, and clear communicator
  • Good all-round admin and computer skills – organised and accurate
  • Solid technical knowledge – comfortable discussing vehicle issues with confidence
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude and a team-focused mindset
  • Ambition to progress – ideally into a workshop support or control role
  • No mechanical repair work required
