- Basic Salary: Up to £47,000 plus bonus
- Bonus: £53,000+
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday only!
For your hard work as a Commercial Workshop Manager, you will get the following:

- Plan and manage workshop workload, prioritising repairs based on customer and business needs
- Minimise trailer downtime by choosing the most cost-effective repair methods
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs (in workshop, roadside, or customer site) meet high standards and comply with EHS regulations
- Oversee and maintain workshop systems and processes
- Promote safe, tidy, and hazard-free working practices in line with policies
- Manage staffing levels by coordinating holidays and workload scheduling
- Monitor and control overtime based on maintenance demands
- Process all workshop paperwork accurately and on time
- Maximise use of manufacturer warranty and goodwill schemes
- Review and analyse maintenance trends, reporting findings to management
- Ensure achievement of agreed goals and performance objectives
- Make sure company vehicles are used according to traffic laws and company policies
- Deliver high levels of customer service and uphold company values
- Identify and report potential commercial opportunities to management
- Ensure all staff understand and follow the Mobile Van Policy
- Monitor use of correct PPE by all staff at all times
- Comply with health and safety policies and report any concerns
- Complete all required training as set by the company.
- Previous workshop management experience is an advantage
- Must be a time-served technician or hold City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 certificates (or equivalent qualifications and experience)
- Strong technical background in HGV repairs required
- Customer-focused with a team-oriented mindset and a high level of professionalism
- Team management experience is a strong advantage
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an effective communicator
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently
- Confident in questioning and challenging when necessary
- Analytical mindset; ability to interpret data is beneficial
- Proficient with computers and general admin tasks
- Full and valid driving license required
