Vehicle Technician required - Main Dealer  
  • Location: Solihull
  • Salary: Up to £34,000 basic + bonus (OTE up to £43,000)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00, with Saturday rota

You’ll be working across a variety of modern vehicles, including hybrid and electric models, in a professional, well-equipped workshop. As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles
  • Working on mechanical systems including suspension, brakes, steering, and exhausts
  • Performing diagnostic checks and fault-finding using electronic diagnostic tools
  • Servicing and repairing hybrid and electric vehicles (training provided if required)
  • Fitting manufacturer-approved accessories and upgrades
  • Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
  • Delivering high standards of customer service and working collaboratively with workshop colleagues.
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician role, you should have:
  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • A good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • A full UK driving licence
  • An MOT testing licence (desirable, not essential)
  • Hybrid or EV qualification (advantageous, not essential – full training provided)
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and efficiency.
