Our automotive client in the Cheshire area is looking to recruit a Finance Director to help drive their business forward.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity at the heart of a fast-paced, high-growth automotive Group. We're looking for a commercially astute finance leader who can drive strategic decision-making and enable continued business growth through robust forecasting, KPI management, and insightful financial reporting.

As a key member of the executive team, you'll play an active role in shaping the company’s future - providing data-driven insight and contributing to board-level discussions. You’ll need to be hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in an evolving, dynamic environment.

This Finance Director role is suited to a senior finance professional with:
  • Chartered Accountant Qualification (or ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Significant experience as Finance Director, CFO, or equivalent in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Previous Retail Motor Trade experience
  • A strong track record in high-growth or fast-changing businesses
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build trusted relationships with board members, budget holders, private equity investors, and banking partners.
  • A solid track record in transactions, including M&A, refinancing, and business exits
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a high level of personal drive
  • Experience navigating business transformation or scaling challenges
  • Commercial and operational acumen, with a history of contributing to revenue growth and margin improvement.
