VDA / Estimator Needed in Oldham – Commercial Bodyshop
  • Location: Oldham
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (earlier start available from 7:00am)
  • Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum plus Bonus of £45,000
  • Holiday: 21 days holiday, increasing with length of service
  • Employment Type: On-site, full-time – 40 hours per week
Our client, a busy and well-respected Commercial Bodyshop in Oldham, is seeking an experienced VDA / Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a stable and supportive work environment with room to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities of the VDA :
  • Accurately assess and estimate damage using Audatex
  • Produce detailed and costed estimates for commercial vehicle repairs
  • Liaise with customers, insurers, and bodyshop staff to ensure clarity and transparency
  • Ensure all estimates are completed to the required standards and timescales
  • Work effectively with the bodyshop team to progress repairs efficiently
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a VDA / Estimator (time-served experience essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of Audatex – must be competent in its use
  • Commercial vehicle background ideal but not essential
  • Qualifications in Vehicle Damage Assessment preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
