We’re supporting an award-winning independent used car dealership in Dover with the ongoing expansion of their in-house preparation centre.
They’re now looking to recruit a hands-on Vehicle Strip Fitter — a great opportunity whether you’ve got experience or are just starting out and keen to grow your skills in a supportive, quality-focused environment.
This isn’t a bonus-led or high-pressure workshop. It’s a family-run business that values good people, a positive attitude, and doing things properly.

Duties of a Vehicle Strip Fitter with our Client:
  • Remove and refit light exterior trims such as bumpers, wings, mirrors, door handles, etc.
  • Work closely with other prep team members to support the pre-sale process
  • Ensure vehicles are ready for paint, valeting, or delivery in line with internal quality checks
  • Maintain a tidy work area and follow structured prep procedures
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Strip Fitter:
  • Previous experience in a mechanical, prep, or bodyshop role ideal – but not essential
  • Good hand skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach
  • Reliable, hard-working, and eager to learn
  • A team player with a practical, can-do attitude
  • Someone who’s not stuck in their ways – open to training and development
