Vehicle Service Advisor Required, in Central Bristol
  • Starting salary from £28,571 per annum (pending experience).
  • £6,000+ additional annual bonus potential with some employees at our client earning over £12,000+ per annum.
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm with Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm on a rota, paid as overtime.
Our client; a multi-franchise approved Car Dealership situated in the Central Bristol region, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. 

 As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will need to be:
  • A confident relationship builder
  • Able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle
  • Delivering a first-class service, as well as achieving the company objectives and targets
  • You will greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work
  • Extensive liaison with the Workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed. 
Requirements of this Vehicle Service Advisor position:
  • Able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy (any experience with Pinewood Pinnacle is preferable), would be of high priority.
  • Due to the nature of this role, recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous; however is non-essential provided you come from a strong customer service-oriented background and have a basic mechanical understanding of vehicles. 
  • Liaising with the vehicle manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and having a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous, but is not essential.
