Our client is actively seeking a skilled Automotive Prepper / Polisher / SMART Repairer to join their high-performing crash repair workshop in Epsom, Surrey. About the Role As an Automotive Prepper / Polisher / SMART Repairer, you will play a key role in preparing and finishing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise will ensure exceptional quality in vehicle preparation, polishing, and small to medium area repair techniques (SMART).

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Prepper / Polisher:
  • Preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
  • Polishing vehicles to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Performing SMART repairs on minor bodywork damage, such as scratches, dents, and scuffs
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Collaborating with the workshop team to meet productivity and quality targets
Requirements for the Vehicle Prepper / Polisher Role:
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Prepper, Polisher, or SMART Repairer in a busy bodyshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Recognised qualifications in vehicle preparation, polishing, or SMART repairs are advantageous but not essential – full training can be provided
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
