Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Farnborough:

Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + Overtime at 1.5x + Performance-Based Bonus
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Employer: Family-Run Multi-Franchised Approved Service & Bosch Car Service Centre
Group: Part of a well-capitalised group employing 200 staff across the Thames Valley, operating with strong family values
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota

About the Role Join our clients expanding workshop team at a state-of-the-art Approved Service & Bosch Car Service Centre in Farnborough. As a Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will play a important role in delivering high-quality mechanical repairs and advanced vehicle diagnostics for a diverse range of vehicles, including prestige and multi-franchised brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex vehicle diagnostics using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software
  • Conduct mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance to manufacturer standards
  • Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain high standards of service
  • Document all work accurately for compliance and customer records
  • Mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise to support team development

Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time-served experience)
  • Experience: Proven expertise in vehicle diagnostics and mechanical repairs, ideally with prestige or multi-franchised brands
  • Skills: Proficient with diagnostic tools, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to personal and professional growth
  • Licence: Full UK driving licence preferred
