- Location: Weybridge, Surrey
- Salary: Up to £56,000 (40-hour contract) or £60,000 (45-hour contract) inclusive OTE based on Overtime and Productivity bonus
- Contract: Full-time, choice of 40 or 45 hours per week
Key Responsibilities as a MET Technician:
- Vehicle Assessment: Inspect damage and structural integrity.
- Mechanical Repairs: Repair or replace components like suspension and steering.
- Electrical Repairs: Diagnose and fix lighting, sensors, wiring, and electronics.
- Trim Repairs: Restore interior/exterior trim, panels, upholstery, and dashboards.
- Welding & Fabrication: Repair or replace damaged metal structures.
- Alignment & Calibration: Perform wheel alignment and calibrate ADAS/safety features to manufacturer specs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate repair records.
- Quality Control: Ensure repairs meet industry standards; conduct test drives as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, and others for seamless workflow.
- Experience in stripping, refurbishing, and fitting various vehicles.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- ATA accreditation preferred but not essential (training provided post-probation if needed).
- Enthusiastic, committed, and safety-conscious approach.
- Choice of 40 or 45-hour contract.
