About the Role:
Our client, a reputable family-owned independent garage specializing in prestige vehicles, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Vehicle Technician / Motor Engineer to join their busy Service Team. If you have a passion for delivering top-quality workmanship and excellent customer service, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a professional and friendly environment.

Hours for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Contracted hours)
  • Optional Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (at overtime rate)
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose, test, and repair a wide range of modern vehicles using the latest technology
  • Carry out all work in a safe, environmentally conscious, and efficient manner
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge base to identify faults and perform comprehensive repairs
  • Share expertise with colleagues, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently in a demanding environment and adhere to schedules
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Careful and respectful handling of customers’ vehicles and property
  • Optional: Hold an MOT license (beneficial but not essential)
  • Ideally reside within or be easily accessible to the Petersfield area
