Our client, an established Automotive Main Dealer in Hastings, East Sussex, is seeking an experienced Technician to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity offering strong earning potential, career development, and the chance to work within a supportive management environment.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics and mechanical repairs on all makes and models
  • Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and explain work required
  • Ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Complete relevant service documentation, job sheets, and reports
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, where applicable
  • If Applicable Perform MOT inspections, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
What our client expects from their Vehicle Technician:
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills
  • Level 3 Qualification or Time Served Experience ( For Time Served Consideration 5 - 6 Years Automotive experience within a similar garage setting) 
  • Experience working within a Vehicle Workshop or similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit
  • MOT Testing Licence is preferable 
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
