- Location: Stockport, Manchester
- Working Hours: Full-time, flexible working considered
- Salary: up to £40,000 basic plus OTE up to £50,000, 33 days’ holiday, life assurance, and other excellent company benefits
Key Responsibilities for the Workshop Controller:
- Oversee the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
- Motivate and lead a team of technicians to achieve performance and quality targets
- Manage vehicle progress through the workshop and liaise closely with service reception to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of service, quality, and health and safety compliance
- Support the Service Manager with reporting, planning, and performance reviews
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller (minimum two years preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Sound technical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
