  • Location: Stockport, Manchester
  • Working Hours: Full-time, flexible working considered
  • Salary: up to £40,000 basic plus OTE up to £50,000, 33 days’ holiday, life assurance, and other excellent company benefits
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive groups, now looking for a skilled Workshop Controller to strengthen their aftersales team in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities for the Workshop Controller:
  • Oversee the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
  • Motivate and lead a team of technicians to achieve performance and quality targets
  • Manage vehicle progress through the workshop and liaise closely with service reception to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards of service, quality, and health and safety compliance
  • Support the Service Manager with reporting, planning, and performance reviews
What We’re Looking For in a Workshop Controller:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller (minimum two years preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Sound technical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence
