What You’ll Do as a Paint Technician working with our client:
  • Prepare and repaint motor vehicles with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes
  • Follow industry best practices and safety standards for all repairs
  • Use paint mixing schemes and drying equipment accurately to achieve perfect results
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimise workshop utilisation and productivity
  • Attend specialised training sessions to stay current with manufacturer and internal protocols
  • Mentor and guide apprentice technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and skill development
Required Skills for the Paint Technician role:
  • Proven experience in car preparation and automotive painting
  • Strong understanding of accident repair processes within a bodyshop environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Smart Repairer or Paint Sprayer experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Demonstrable industry experience in automotive painting and repairs
  • Background in crash repair or bodyshop settings
Other Requirements:
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to work standard hours and participate in ongoing training
