Our client, a leading Accident Repair Centre in Guildford, is seeking a talented Panel Beater to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for repairing damage to vehicles with precision and care to restore them to their original condition. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you will handle panel repairs, replacements, and work confidently on hybrid and electric vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are always met. Required Skills for the Panel Beater Role :
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater within an automotive repair environment
  • Skilled in panel repair, replacement, welding, bonding, and using appropriate tools
  • Confident in repairing hybrid and EV vehicles with the correct methods
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and safety protocols
  • Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and your own tools & equipment
Nice to Have Skills:
  • ATA Panel Beating accreditation
  • Experience with advanced vehicle repair technologies
  • Additional qualifications such as MET or Auto Electrician experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Panel Repair or similar qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in vehicle collision repairs
  • Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm, with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at overtime depending on business needs
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and workplace organisation
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a passion for quality work
  • Willingness to travel to different sites across Guildford and surrounding areas as required
