- Lead and supervise the parts department team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Manage stock levels through developing and implementing precise inventory control procedures
- Oversee receipt, interpretation, and prompt despatch of parts to retail, trade, and workshop customers.
- Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Communicate with the senior management team regarding backorder issues, utilising the dealership’s escalation process.
- Interact professionally with customers to understand requirements and assist in locating the right parts
- Ensure vehicle health checks are accurately completed to maintain workshop efficiency
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
- Strive to deliver outstanding customer service consistently, both internally and externally.
- Proven experience within a main dealer parts environment, with supervisory responsibilities
- Familiarity with Kerridge or similar dealership management systems
- Knowledge of brand-specific parts and systems is highly desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Immaculate professional appearance aligned with dealership standards
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (Saturday rota paid as overtime)
- Ability to maintain high standards of record keeping and customer service
