We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Epsom, Surrey, for a talented Vehicle Technician to join their rapidly growing team. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair faults on both passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed
  • Provide technical advice and support to the service team
  • Ensure safety standards and environmental regulations are adhered to
  • Support the workshop with vehicle inspections and diagnostics
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Full valid driving licence for at least six months
  • NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with at least two years post-apprenticeship experience
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment is highly desirable
  • MOT testing qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to develop skills further through training including Electric Vehicle Maintenance
  • Ability to work flexibly, including overtime and a rota basis for Saturday mornings
  • Proof of right to work in the UK and work without restrictions
