Key duties as a Technician include:
  • Carrying out repairs across various vehicle makes and models, including hybrids and EVs (full training provided)
  • Completing clutch replacements, timing belt replacements, brakes, and suspension work within recognised book times
  • Performing vehicle servicing and safety inspections
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and undertaking related repair work
  • Maintaining accurate work records and ensuring high standards of workmanship
  • Ensuring the workshop remains clean and organised to promote safety and efficiency
Candidate requirements for the Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician with solid hands-on skills
  • Confidence working on a variety of makes and models
  • Ability to communicate effectively with workshop managers and customers when needed
  • Full UK driving licence and the legal right to work in the UK
  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic approach to work
  • Previous dealership experience is advantageous but not essential
  • MOT Licence not required but desirable
