Duties of the Front of House Service Advisor include:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all customer interactions both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Guiding customers through service and sales processes to ensure a seamless experience
  • Building strong rapport with clients to understand and meet their needs, upselling where appropriate
  • Completing outbound reports and follow-up calls after vehicle inspections
  • Receiving inbound inquiries, accurately recording details, and preparing repair estimates
  • Creating customer bookings and managing appointments efficiently
  • Ensuring the front-of-house area remains professional, welcoming, and well-organised
  • Providing excellent customer service to gather feedback and enhance satisfaction
Requirements of the Front of House Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within automotive or sales environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Proactive and determined, with a problem-solving approach
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively close sales and handle objections
  • Basic knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous, but training will be provided
  • Willingness to commit to 6 weekly off-site training sessions, including one overnight stay, to develop front of house skills
