Duties of the Commercial Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose, repair and service Volkswagen LCV and VAG vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively to identify faults
  • Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs
  • Communicate with customers to explain work scope and findings
  • Complete accurate documentation in line with brand and warranty procedures
  • Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness standards
  • Road-test vehicles post-repair to ensure quality work
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a commercial vehicle technician or similar
  • Knowledge of Volkswagen LCV or VAG products is advantageous
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Qualifications relevant to vehicle repair and diagnostics
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Flexible approach to shift patterns and workload
