- Basic salary of £45,000 plus performance bonuses

- Lead and manage the accounts department ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data
- Produce management accounts and forecasts in line with company policies and deadlines
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, purchase, and sales ledgers
- Prepare and review manufacturer composite information and stock valuations
- Provide financial guidance and support to departmental managers
- Conduct inductions and ongoing training for accounts team members
- Monitor and improve department efficiency and compliance with legislation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
- Assist with month-end procedures and year-end audit preparations
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Assistant Accountant or Accountant within a dealership environment
- Familiarity with CDK/Kerridge systems highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dealership accounts and financial reporting
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work accurately under pressure
- Knowledge of current financial regulations and best practices in automotive finance
