  • £35k Basic - £70k OTE 
  • Hours: 42.5 hours between 08:30 – 18:00 with weekend working on a rota basis.

Duties of a Used Car Sales Manager: 
  • Lead and motivate the used car sales team driving towards monthly and annual sales targets
  • Manage part exchange valuations and ensure accurate pricing and appraisals
  • Oversee the sale of used cars, accessories, paint protection, GAP policies, and insurance products
  • Prepare and present finance proposals customised to customer needs and process finance documentation
  • Conduct thorough follow-ups with customers post-enquiry to maximise sales opportunities
  • Record and report sales data, ensuring accurate documentation of deal outcomes
  • Deliver a seamless customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor live leads, assign them appropriately, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Identify renewal and upselling opportunities, including last-chance contacts
  • Mentor and develop sales team members to improve performance and product knowledge
Candidate requirements: 
  • Proven retail management experience within the automotive industry, minimum of 2 years
  • Strong understanding of car valuations and finance products
  • FCA accreditation is essential
  • Skilled in customer relationship management and negotiation
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence is required
  • Knowledge of insurance products and related systems
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
