- Conduct advanced diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on all makes and models, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles
- Perform complex mechanical repairs such as cylinder head work, timing belt and chain replacements, and clutch repairs
- Service and repair engine management and emissions systems, including DPF, SCR, and AdBlue systems
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and effectively communicate findings to the service reception team
- Complete repairs to manufacturer and industry standard times using appropriate tools and techniques
- Document all work thoroughly and maintain precise service records
- Work safely in accordance with workshop health and safety procedures and standards
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years experience in a busy automotive workshop environment
- Proven ability to perform complex diagnostics and mechanical repairs independently
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle electronic and emissions systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional communication skills with colleagues and customers
- Relevant qualifications such as MOT testing and manufacturer training are a plus
