Key duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics across all vehicle makes and models
  • Conducting MOT tests and preparing vehicles for certification
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently
  • Replacing worn or damaged parts such as brakes, clutches, timing belts, and more
  • Ensuring high quality standards and compliance with safety regulations
  • Communicating effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Ability to work efficiently on all makes and models
  • Relevant automotive technician qualifications
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to quality workmanship
  • Experience with MOT fail repairs, such as brakes and suspension, is advantageous
This Vehicle Technician position offers a standard working week from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm, with a one-hour lunch break, plus one Saturday morning every two weeks. The role provides a basic salary of approximately £40,000 per year, with the potential to earn more through overtime.
