Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnosing vehicle issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out routine servicing, repairs to a high standard
  • Inspecting vehicles to identify necessary repairs or replacements
  • Ensuring all work is completed within specified timeframes
  • Maintaining detailed service and repair records
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
  • Communicating effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs and estimated timescales
  • Ensuring the workshop is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Technician or similar role within the motor trade
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Knowledge of current repair industry practices and health & safety standards
  • Reliable and professional attitude
