My client who runs an busy independent garage in the heart of Chester is actively seeking a Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester to join their team owing to company expansion.

The main responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role include: 
  • Diagnosing complex symptoms spanning the entire spectrum of vehicle systems
  • Manage time efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction is met 
  • Utilize cutting-edge video vehicle health assessments to pinpoint issues and seize potential opportunities for upselling
  • Communicate clearly updating work progression 
  • Hon your skills through regular training, with a special focus on electric vehicles 
  • Play a pivotal role in the team's success by offering technical guidance and coaching to your colleagues
  • Uphold a pristine and secure work bay, consistently adhering to established standards
  • Perform MOTs in alignment with DVSA standards if qualified
To be considered for this Diagnostic Technician role, you must have:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ideally a qualification to minimum Level 2
  • Full UK driving licence
