  • Monday–Friday 8:30–5:30
  • Alternate Saturdays 8:30–1:30
A well-established independent automotive group is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead and drive performance across multiple branches. This is a senior, front-line leadership role focused on people, standards, and commercial results.

What you’ll be doing as a General Manager:
  • Leading and overseeing multiple branches to ensure smooth, consistent operations
  • Managing, coaching, and holding accountable Branch Managers, Technicians, and Service Advisors
  • Driving performance against KPIs covering financials, customer service, operations, and people
  • Acting as the link between branch teams and senior leadership
  • Embedding best practice, standards, and continuous improvement across sites
  • Supporting sales growth across MOT, servicing, repairs, and tyres
  • Ensuring full compliance with DVSA, Health & Safety, and company policies
What we’re looking for in a General Manager:
  • Proven multi-site or senior branch management experience within automotive
  • Strong people leader who drives performance from the front
  • Commercially focused with solid KPI and operational management skills
  • Strong knowledge of MOT, servicing, repairs, and workshop operations
  • Confident managing compliance, standards, and customer escalations
