Duties of the Paint Sprayer / Prepper role:
  • Prepping vehicles to the highest standards prior to painting
  • Applying top-quality spray painting to a wide range of vehicles
  • Managing your own workload efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork including job cards and job progress documentation
  • Following manufacturer and BSI 10125 standards for quality assurance
  • Collaborating with panel beaters, MET fitters, and other team members
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Using your initiative to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements for the Paint Sprayer / Prepper role:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in bodyshop painting and prepping
  • High-level spray painting skills, with familiarity in colour matching and coating characteristics
  • Own spray guns and air-fed mask
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and paint application techniques
  • Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude
  • Competency with workshop computer systems
  • Valid UK driving licence
