Our Client, an established independent garage based in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, is seeking a highly professional and experienced Service Advisor to join their reputable team. This opportunity is ideal for Service Advisors who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and possess a thorough understanding of automotive service processes. The Service Advisor will play a crucial responsibility in managing customer relationships, advising on vehicle repairs, and ensuring a smooth service experience.

Duties:
  • Greeting customers and accurately capturing vehicle information for service requirements
  • Advising customers on recommended repairs and maintenance procedures
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and obtaining approval before proceeding
  • Liaising with technicians to facilitate timely and efficient vehicle servicing
  • Updating customers on the progress of their vehicle’s repair or service
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions
  • Upselling suitable products or services where appropriate
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety policies and procedures within the workshop
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry, preferably in an independent garage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and parts
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in using dealership management systems and MS Office
  • Full valid driving licence
