  • Monday to Friday – Approximately 42.5 hours per week – Flexible start times e.g. 06:30 - 15:30, 07:00 - 16:00, 08:00 - 17:00 etc.

Our client, a reputable fleet repair specialist based in Eastbourne, is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their busy team. This role offers the chance to work within a brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop, where you’ll be integral to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs on a diverse fleet, from small cars to larger vans. All Vehicles are relatively new, so no rust buckets worked on here! 

As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for applying immaculate paint finishes using the latest equipment, ensuring each vehicle meets top standards. The workshop is fully equipped with two ovens and uses the advanced PPG paint system, providing the right environment for high-quality craftsmanship.

Duties of a Paint Sprayer:
  • Applying high-quality paint finishes using professional equipment
  • Operating and maintaining two dedicated ovens/booths safely and effectively
  • Preparing vehicles by cleaning, masking, and sanding as required
  • Repaired vehicles may include damage from fleet operations of various sizes
  • Ensuring all repairs meet quality and safety standards
  • Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults requiring attention
  • Keeping the workshop environment tidy and hazard-free
  • Interpreting technical data to ensure accurate application of repairs
What our client expects of their Paint Sprayer:
  • Proven experience in automotive spraying and refinishing
  • Familiarity with PPG paint systems or similar
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently under operational pressures
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
  • Certification in spray painting is advantageous but not mandatory
