Duties as a Service Advisor in this role will involve:
  • Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle service needs
  • Coordinating with technicians and interpreting customer concerns
  • Providing accurate and transparent estimates for repairs and servicing
  • Managing work orders and service bookings within garage management systems
  • Keeping customers informed of vehicle progress and additional work required
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues professionally
  • Upselling relevant services and products to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring the efficient flow of work through the workshop and maintaining quality standards
Candidate requirements for the Service Advisor role include:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing automotive role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Technical understanding of automotive repairs (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with garage management systems (Desirable)
  • A professional, approachable manner with a customer-first attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence (desirable)
