Join our client’s team as a Branch Manager / Sales and Service Manager in Oldbury, West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to take on a leadership responsibility within a well-established company. The Sales and Service Manager position offers a competitive salary, performance bonuses, and the chance to develop your management skills in a dynamic environment.

As the Branch Manager, your duties will include:
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the branch and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Managing and motivating staff to achieve sales and margin targets
  • Actively visiting business clients to retain existing accounts and acquire new customers
  • Selling and promoting trailers, parts, equipment, and services.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained within budget and stock systems are accurately managed
  • Ensuring the branch is clean, well-presented, and fully stocked with parts and promotional materials.
  • Developing product knowledge and increasing market penetration through personal contact and promotional activities
  • Maintaining detailed records of sales, leads, enquiries, and prospects.
  • Participating in recruitment, disciplinary actions, and employee management.
  • Managing stocktaking and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift when necessary
  • Maintaining a full, clean driving licence
  • Performing any additional duties as required
Requirements of the Branch Sales Manager role:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Parts Manager within the motor trade or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of trailers, parts, or related products is advantageous.
  • A full, clean driver’s licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to sales and customer retention
