- Overseeing the daily operations of the branch and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Managing and motivating staff to achieve sales and margin targets
- Actively visiting business clients to retain existing accounts and acquire new customers
- Selling and promoting trailers, parts, equipment, and services.
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained within budget and stock systems are accurately managed
- Ensuring the branch is clean, well-presented, and fully stocked with parts and promotional materials.
- Developing product knowledge and increasing market penetration through personal contact and promotional activities
- Maintaining detailed records of sales, leads, enquiries, and prospects.
- Participating in recruitment, disciplinary actions, and employee management.
- Managing stocktaking and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
- Operating a counterbalance forklift when necessary
- Maintaining a full, clean driving licence
- Performing any additional duties as required
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Parts Manager within the motor trade or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Knowledge of trailers, parts, or related products is advantageous.
- A full, clean driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to sales and customer retention
