Are you an experienced MOT / Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Our client, a rapidly expanding national automotive company located in Winsford, is actively recruiting for a skilled MOT / Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Duties as the new Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will include:
  • Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyre fitting
  • Use alignment machines and interpret readings to ensure precise adjustments
  • Complete vehicle inspection sheets and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Identify additional faults and communicate findings effectively to customers and management
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Candidate specifications for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
  • Level 3 Mechanics qualification or valid MOT Licence
  • Proven experience in a professional workshop environment
  • Solid knowledge of tyre fitting, brakes, cambelts, clutches, and exhaust systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team
  • Focused on quality, safety, and attention to detail
