Are you an experienced MET Technician seeking a new opportunity in Cornwall? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable employer for a skilled MET Technician to work at their Liskeard site. This is an excellent chance to join a busy operation where your expertise will be valued and rewarded.

Benefits of this MET Technician role include:

Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum
Working hours mainly from Monday to Thursday, with early start shifts 
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rated for a four-day workweek
Exposure to accident repair and insurance work including strip fitting, suspension, mechanical repairs, and damage assessment.

Duties for the MET Technician include:

Conducting accident repairs on vehicles – stripping, fitting, suspension, and mechanical tasks
Diagnosing and executing repairs in line with insurance requirements
Working efficiently to meet client standards and deadlines
Maintaining accurate documentation and repair reports
Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld at all times

Candidate requirements:

Proven experience as an MET Technician or auto electrician with a strong background in accident repair
Ability to work Monday to Thursday on early shifts
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems on vehicles
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
Able to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality repairs
