Our client, a reputable vehicle repair specialist, is seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join their dynamic team. This is a great chance for a professional looking to progress their career within a company committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key duties of the MET Technician include:
  • Removing and refitting vehicle panels and components to high standards
  • Conducting assessments of additional damage and liaising with repair consultants
  • Completing vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs efficiently
  • Performing steering geometry alignment and adjustments
  • Evacuating and recharging air conditioning systems
  • Working with plastic repairs and glazing
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with quality standards
Candidate requirements for the MET Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician
  • Working knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
  • Relevant mechanical, suspension, or MET accreditation (ATA preferred)
  • Experience with vehicle electrics and auto electrical systems
  • Familiarity with steering geometry, air conditioning, and plastic repairs
  • LCV experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
