Service Mechanic Required in Croydon
  • Pay: £35,000 - £38,000 Basic DOE
  • Hours: 8 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday + Saturday on rota 
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable car garage in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to further their career within the motor trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the workshop’s efficiency.

Benefits for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience

  • Working hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, including oil, filters, brakes, and suspension
  • Complete clutch replacements and other mechanical repairs
  • Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and safety regulations
  • Maintain detailed repair records and communicate findings to colleagues and customers
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within a busy workshop environment
  • Ability to work on clutches, brakes, suspension and oil service
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
