Our client is seeking a fully competent Vehicle Technician to join their team at a busy Wokingham-based site. This hybrid role offers a fantastic chance to work in a well-established workshop environment with additional mobile and van-based service work. Our Client is offering the successful Vehicle Technician:
- Up To £42,000 Salary Depending On Experience
- Monday To Friday 8am - 6pm (1 Hour Lunch)
- NO Weekends
- Mixture Of Workshop Based & Mobile Based Locally
- Must Be Capable With: Clutches, Cambelts, Suspension, General Technician Duties
Duties:
- Servicing vehicles, including clutches, cambelts, suspension and general repairs
- Performing wheel alignment and related tasks across the road at neighbouring garages
- Carrying out mobile fleet servicing in a van
- Working independently in the workshop bay and on the road as required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
Experienced Required:
- Fully competent Vehicle Technician able to carry out clutch, cambelt, suspension and general repairs
- Physically fit, tidy and well-presented
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable and able to work the agreed hours of 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
- Ideally located in or near Wokingham or willing to commute
- No specific qualifications or certifications explicitly required, but experience in a similar role is essential
- Candidates need to be comfortable working both in the workshop and out on the road
