Looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Controller to join our busy service desk team in Maidenhead, Berkshire. This position is essential in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently, providing top-notch support for maintenance, breakdown management, and customer service. Duties for the Service Controller will include:
  • Managing reactive and scheduled maintenance to reduce fleet downtime
  • Handling breakdown requests and coordinating repairs promptly
  • Processing service requests and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising closely with engineers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate activities
  • Updating and managing fleet activity records within internal systems
  • Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and ready for use at all times
Requirements needed as the Service Controller:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience with fleet management systems is highly desirable
  • Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and resolve issues efficiently
  • Confident communicator with professional phone manner
  • IT literacy and attention to detail
