Join a busy accident repair centre in Knockholt, Kent as a MET Technician and become an integral part of a team committed to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals seeking a role with variety, stability, and competitive pay.

  • Competitive basic salary of £52,000 per year / Hourly rate between £16 and £25 per hour 
  • Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, with flexibility for an early start at 07:00

Duties:
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical vehicle repairs including door changes, quarter panels, suspension, subframes, bonnets, tailgates, struts, radiators
  • Using Audatex diagnostics and Autoflow systems for job cards and repair planning
  • Working predominantly on fleet and insurance work with minimal engine repairs
  • Managing repairs efficiently and adhering to quality standards
  • Working with a team that covers panel beating, paint and prep, and MET tasks
  • Maintaining accurate job times, clocking on and off duties, and adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or similar role in vehicle repair
  • Experience with Audatex diagnostics system beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to adapt and possibly expand skill set, including technical roles or qualifications if desired
  • A history of stable employment and well-known references are preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
  • Qualifications are not essential, but relevant experience is important
  • Vehicle Technicians seeking to move into MET considered, provided they have ability with Trim work
